Job Description:

Hospital Medicine is seeking a full-time nocturnist physician to join our dynamic and experienced team. Position Details This position offers 12 shifts per month, 36 hours per week. Shift times are 4pm-4am and 7pm-7am. Admit in collaboration with Advanced Practice Providers, consult with specialists, respond to RRTs and codes, and cross-cover patients on some nights. Perform pre-operative assessments and co-manage surgical patients. Practice efficiently and effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment. Flexible and responsive to patient needs and unexpected staffing changes. Closed ICU. No procedures required. EMR system is Epic. Qualifications MD or DO licensed in Connecticut. DEA and CDS licenses. Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (within 5 years). Compensation & Benefits Compensation includes salary, incentive, and bonus. Benefits, including health, dental, 403(b), and malpractice coverage with tail. CME allowance and time off.
