Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 12/01/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position on a 24-bed unit, requiring Epic proficiency and a current MA RN license. Responsibilities - Work on a 24-bed Med/Surg Telemetry floor - Patient population includes admissions from the ER and cardiac procedural areas such as cath lab and EP lab - Cardiac procedures include pacers, AICD, Watchman, cardiac caths, and TAVRs - Must read and interpret cardiac monitors - Uses Epic electronic medical record system - 12-hour day and evening shifts - Weekend and holiday work required, including mandatory Christmas Day coverage - Must pass Tele/ECG and Medication competency tests at designated campuses - Responsible for providing care for patients from ER and cardiac procedures requiring telemetry monitoring - All returning employees, including travelers, must observe the 6-month break policy prior to consideration - First time travelers will be considered - Parking options may incur significant fees in the Boston area Requirements - Active MA RN license in hand required - Minimum experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing - Prior experience with Epic EMR required - COVID vaccine and booster, and flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed) - Must have been separated from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility for at least 6 months to be eligible - Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility (no locals) Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-630535.
