Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 12/01/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position on a 24-bed unit, requiring experience with cardiac monitoring and Epic EMR. Responsibilities - Position is on a 24-bed Med/Surg Telemetry floor - Cares for patients from the emergency department and cardiac procedural areas including cath lab and EP lab - Manages telemetry patients with cardiac conditions such as pacers, AICD, Watchman, cardiac caths, and TAVRs - 12-hour night shifts - Every other weekend and holiday required, including Christmas - Epic EMR experience is required - No local candidates within a 50-mile radius are eligible - Duties include providing care for medical and surgical telemetry patients and monitoring complex cardiac cases - Responsible for patients post cardiac procedures from cath lab and EP lab - Testing required includes Tele/ECG and Medication Test - First-time travelers are considered - Must be prepared to work required holidays, including Christmas - Parking availability may be limited and could be up to $43 per day - Medical exemptions to vaccine requirements are accepted Requirements - Active MA RN license required at the time of consideration - Previous hospital Med/Surg Telemetry experience required - Must be able to read and interpret cardiac monitors - Epic EMR experience required - Current COVID vaccine (including booster) and Flu vaccination required; medical exemptions allowed - Must not have worked at any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility in the past 6 months Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-630537.
