Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/17/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele role in Massachusetts requiring a current MA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a hospital setting on the Stanton 6/SDU unit, which includes both med-surg and step-down level care - Unit has 20 private beds, with 14 designated med-surg and 6 step-down beds - Staff rotate between med-surg and step-down assignments - Patient ratios are 5:1 for med-surg assignments - Position requires floating to other med-surg units as needed - 12-hour rotating shifts with a combination of days and nights, including every other weekend - No local candidates permitted; candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility - RNs will provide care for both med-surg and step-down patient populations - Candidates must complete and pass Telemetry/ECG and medication testing as part of onboarding - No time off is approved around Christmas for this assignment - Scrub or dress code requirements may apply; details provided at assignment - Parking may cost up to $43 per day at the facility /n /n Requirements/n - Active MA RN license required at time of consideration - Current BLS (AHA) required - ACLS (AHA) preferred - Minimum of 2 years RN experience required - Must have experience in med-surg and telemetry care - Must have been separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health for at least 6 months if previously employed there - COVID-19 vaccine with booster and seasonal flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed) /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-625775.
