*Job Title: Mammography Technologist**Job Duration: 8 Weeks**Job Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts, 02138**Gross Weekly Pay: $3,000**Job Description:**Responsibilities:* Performs radiologic mammography exams per department protocol including advanced Mammography procedures like stereotactic biopsies, clip placements, drainages Perform the quality control functions related to mammography Perform mammography procedures in a technically proficient manner The Mammography Tech in this department provides care for adult patients between 18 to 64 years Perform high quality radiologic and mammography exams on incoming patients Assess patients medical condition, age, size and other related medical conditions to determine if patient is able to undergo mammography examination and to how best to obtain optimal results/images Immobilize patient as required for appropriate examination, explaining the need for breast compression during mammography Assume responsibility for mammography equipment and reports equipment malfunction Demonstrates the ability to operate mammography and biopsy equipment properly Conducts daily, weekly and monthly QC testing to ensure the quality control functions related to mammography#RS1*Required:** Mammography Tech - DAYS - 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30* ARRT / MA Rad Tech cert required Screening and diagnostic mammograms', 1-2 years of experience* COVID Vaccines + Booster & 2024/2025 required (or attestation stating they are willing to receive the flu vaccine prior to start.)Job Type: ContractPay: Up to $3,000.00 per weekAbility to Commute:* Cambridge, MA 02138 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Cambridge, MA 02138: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In personby Jobble
