Department Summary:
The Cambridge Hospital Float Pool Registered Nurses provide care
with an emphasis on culturally sensitive, evidence based nursing
practice. While regularly scheduled, the members of the float pool
are deployed on a shift by shift to provide nursing care to
patients in ICU, Med/Surg, Radiology and the IV team.Job
Purpose:
The Hospital Aide II knows and understands the philosophy,
objectives, policies and procedures of Nursing Service. Under the
supervision of the professional nurse, the Hospital Aide provides
basic nursing care to assigned patients. We are currently seeking
experienced Hospital Aides to join our Hospital in our Float Pool.
You will be required to float to the Med/Surg units as needed. In
this role, you will provide patient care under the direct
supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will also maintain a clean
and safe patient care environment. Must have excellent
communication and customer service skills.Qualifications:
