medicine.Job Purpose: -In accordance with CHA policies and
procedures, federal and state regulations, professional standards
of care, and APTA guidelines and code of ethics, the physical
therapist evaluates and treats patients in the inpatient acute care
setting including the same day joint replacement program. In
addition, this position provides evaluation and treatment of
patients on the neurodevelopmental unit at the Somerville Hospital
campus in collaboration with OT, SLP, and the interdisciplinary
team. This is an unique opportunity to work with patients in two
inpatient care areas! -The PT completes all documentation and
administrative duties appropriately, -participates in performance
improvement committees/projects, assists in the orientation of new
staff/coop students. Essential job functions are focused on quality
care, service excellence, safety, cultural competence, and
performance improvement.Qualifications/Requirements:MA PT licensure
and AHA BLS certification required; Inpatient acute care, SNF, or
pediatric experience preferred. New grads consideredIn keeping with
