Location: -CHA Cambridge Hospital -Work Days: -7-3:30 M-F - -Category: -Radiology - -Department: -Nuclear Medicine at CH - -Job Type: Full time - -Work Shift: Day -Hours/Week: 40.00 -Union: No -Union Name: Non UnionThe CHA Imaging department provides advanced medical imaging services led by a team of board-certified physicians, certified technologists and service-oriented staff . We offer a full complement of imaging services including a 128-slice CT and a wide bore 1.5T MRI. We also offer interventional radiology services, diagnostic X-ray, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. We are accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) which demonstrates our commitment to the safest and best quality care possible.Performs a variety of routine and emergent Nuclear Medicine procedures. Must be capable of working independently, unsupervised in a fast paced setting. Must be able to make advanced clinical imaging decisions. Must possess good communications skills and meet service excellence standards. Provide images, data analysis, and patient information to the physician for diagnostic interpretation.EDUCATION:
Graduate of an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Technologist ProgramLICENSURE: Current Massachusetts state licenseCERTIFICATION: Current certification by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT)(N) or the Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologists (CNMT) or (NMTCB)Current AHA BLS certification, 1-2 years experience in a hospital settingSKILLS: Ability to deal efficiently, ethically and courteously with all patients, hospital personnel and others. Excellent verbal and written skills to facilitate communication with patients as well as a variety of medical and technical personnelEXPERIENCE:
1 year Nuclear Medicine experience, Siemens experience preferred. New grads welcome to applyThis is a network position and may require assignments at multiple locations.
