Seaport Dental Associates, with locations in the seaport area of Boston and in Milton, is searching for a personable dental hygienist to join our talented team of healthcare providers! You'll welcome patients and conduct their initial screenings, perform thorough, dental cleanings, and help dentists with examinations and procedures. Responsibilities:

Create dental impressions of patients' teeth so veneers, mouthguards, etc. can be made correctly
Aid dentists by deliberating the best way to treat a variety of dental disease
Talk to patients and make sure they feel comfortable and taken care of before, during, and after the examination
Use x-ray machines to take photos of the patients' teeth so the dentist can clearly identify cavities or other oral health issues
Look for signs of gum disease, infections, or cavities to ensure issues are caught early and can be treated


Qualifications:

Possesses a state license to practice dental hygiene
1-2 years of work experience as a dental hygienist
Certified to perform CPR
Superb customer service and communication skills
Able to stand up for long periods of time to administer dental exams and procedures
