Job Description:
The Medical Engagement Operations Manager will partner with
global medical teams, including medical directors and scientific
communication leads, to compliantly and efficiently deliver medical
activities, engagements, and events in alignment with the annual
strategic medical plans.
The Operations Manager will support various medical activities,
primarily advisory boards and symposia, in project initiation,
planning, execution and completion/ budget reconciliation. This
includes support of project schedules & timelines, managing
budgets, status reporting, project communication, information
gathering, coordination and facilitation of meetings, tracking and
resolution of issues, and tracking risks and resources. The
Operations Manager will plan and manage projects under the general
direction of their respective medical director, medical
communication leader or other medical team representative.
The Operations Manager is responsible for development, maintenance,
and dissemination of key reports/dashboards. The Operations Manager
will assist with development and implementation of customer
satisfaction assessments and corresponding action plans for
improvements where needed.
This role reports directly to the Sanofi Genzyme Medical Engagement
Operations Lead.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
* Plan and provide project management support for medical
engagements and events, such as medical advisory boards, medical
educational symposia, and stand-alone forums.
* Maintain overall HCP engagement/ event documentation as necessary
in program database (including but not limited to overall budget/
FMV, Global Rationale Form, and legal contracts). Maintain state of
audit readiness.
* Support the development, maintenance, and monitoring of project
plans, budgeting, and tracking of milestones. This includes project
schedules/timelines, budgets, and plans for project quality,
resources, communications and risks.
* Support development of KPIs, metrics and dashboards.
* Assist with the monitoring, quality assurance and reporting of
project deliverables and present those findings to key business
stakeholders and internal leadership.
* Ensure process for ex-US HCP engagement is followed compliantly;
this includes working with global compliance on creating
operational systems and/ or processes to address issues or
gaps.
* Coordinate and facilitate project related meetings.
* Support efforts to assess organizational needs, capacity
management practices, identify gaps, and propose new processes and
tools to improve planning.
* Assist with development & implementation of customer satisfaction
surveys; develop action plans to address key findings.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant corporate policy, procedures
and SOPs.
QUALIFICATIONS
* 2+ years of relevant experience in pharma/ biotech or business
operations.
* Bachelor's education at a minimum.
* Program Management experience strongly desired.
* Strong understanding of operating models of large organizations
(Structure, processes, governance and systems).
* Strong customer service focus.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability
to effectively interface across all levels of the organization.
