at the bottom of this posting. REGISTERED NURSE, OCCUPATIONAL
MEDICINE AND ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH, MIT Medical, to evaluate and
execute medical environmental, health and safety (EHS) programs and
activities. Will work with MIT EHS to support the building and
development of EHS programs that provide industry-leading support
to all facets of the Institute, including site research
laboratories, classrooms, and employee work areas; continually
improve and enhance EHS culture and training programs; and
collaborate with key stakeholders across MIT on the development of
and participation in the Incident Response Team and support
Business Continuity and Risk Management activities. Will execute
responsibilities associated with employee health services,
including pre-employment screening, annual health assessments,
immunizations, work-related exposures, illnesses and injuries, and
filing claims for worker's compensation; and provide medical care
to employees with actual/potential work-related medical health
concerns. Job Requirements REQUIRED: graduation from an accredited
nursing program; three years' experience as a RN in
occupational/employee health; current RN license in Massachusetts;
CPR certification; fluency with EMR systems; experience with
computer systems, including web-based applications and Microsoft
Office; current basic life support provider card; knowledge of
pertinent occupational health and infection control regulatory,
accrediting, and advisory body requirements; ability to move
weights of more than 20 lbs., take blood pressures and administer
injections, position oneself over examination tables and in order
to provide CPR, observe objects closely, distinguish sound as voice
patterns and auscultatory sounds, and attend to fine details
despite interruptions. Occupational health certification is
preferred, but if not certified, certification must be achieved
within the first three years of employment via the American Board
for Occupational Health Nursing (ABOHN). Job #20638-9 reposted
