Knowledge Management Data Support SpecialistCooley is seeking a
Knowledge Management Data Support Specialist to join the IS
Knowledge Management & Innovation team.Position summary: Under
general direction from the Knowledge Services Attorney, the
Knowledge Management Data Support Specialist is responsible for
review and management of data in our experience management system
and performing tasks to clean and edit data as needed to maintain
data integrity. Additionally, the role will be tasked with
establishing quality expectations and enforcing standards and best
practices. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:Position
responsibilities:
- Oversee the organization, governance, and analysis of data
within an enterprise-level experience management system
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through audits and quality
checks
- Follow data quality rules and processes to remove duplicate
data, cleanse inaccurate data, standardize data entries and
schedule data analysis reports
- Review and take necessary steps to update data in the
experience management platform based on changes provided from the
billing and CRM systems
- Analyze and manipulate data in Microsoft Excel and prepare data
files to correct data in the experience management platform
- After training, be able to run searches and perform bulk edits
in the experience management platform
- Regularly report progress to Knowledge Services Attorney and
administrative team for the experience management platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system
processes and workflows
- Understand how experience management platform data ties into
the larger business and technical context of the firm's data
platforms and needsSkills and experience: Required:
- After orientation at Cooley LLP, exhibit proficiency in the
rest of the applications in Microsoft Office suite, iManage and
other firm applications
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, including, but not limited to,
ability to perform data manipulation and analysis using VLOOKUP,
pivot tables, etc.
- Available to work overtime, as required
- 2+ years of direct-related experience working in law firm
knowledge management, data analysis or accounting position
providing data analysis and management of law firm dataPreferred:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience using Litera's Foundation platform
- Experience searching for and using data from Salesforce and
Pitchbook platformsCompetencies:

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesCooley offers

expected hourly pay range for this position is $32.00 - $47.00.
Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic
location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.We
