Job Description:

Our Team: The Medical Program Management (MPM) team is one of the functional groups within the Medical Operations and Effectiveness group which falls within the overall Global Medical structure.

  • MPM team supports the 5 Therapeutic Areas (TAs) within Specialty Care Medical
  • Drives Execution of Medical strategies through developing strong partnerships with the Medical teams and through program management expertise
  • Core activities include supporting Medical Evidence Generation activities, Global Medical Planning/ Execution and financial planning exercises Main responsibilities:
  • Responsible to manage cross-functional projects within the MPM team reporting directly to the Head of Global Medical Program Management
  • Ensure Cross-TA initiatives, platforms and tools utilized by the MPM teams are harmonized and implemented consistently across all TAs
  • Lead and manage best practice and process improvement initiatives, in collaboration with the Head of Medical Program Management and Medical Program Leads to ensure continuous performance improvement and effectiveness
  • Responsible for providing leadership and ensuring operational excellence, training and compliance readiness across MPM team
  • Ensures new/revised SOPs, policies and processes are implemented consistently across all MPM TA teams
  • Oversee Medical Activities Hub-related initiatives for the MPM team
  • Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders and support organizations
  • Consolidate and track key metrics & KPIs across MPM teams About you
  • Experience : 7+ years in the industry in expanding roles in Medical or related field, including experience and understanding of the current pharmaceutical environment, with experience managing complex projects, ability to successfully bridge between different fields of expertise, and managing program risks and challenges (including scenario and contingency planning). 5+ years or equivalent multi-/cross functional team experience. Strong knowledge of drug development process and business requirements. Expert planning and tracking skills, with the ability to synthesize summary of details. Knowledge of resource (effort and budget) planning and management. Well organized, focused on results, capable of managing multiple projects, excellent time management skills with respect to priorities and self-management
  • Soft skills : It is important that this individual is a strong facilitator with excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical skills : Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, Smartsheet and PowerBI
