The Senior Director will guide and support the director in hiring, training of TLL team, in the execution of plan and be a champion of cross functional collaboration with internal stakeholders. The Senior Director will be accountable for all TLL related engagement strategies in the US and will collaborate with key internal stakeholders including Compliance, Legal, Regulatory, Field Force, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and Clinical Operations to support the inception, development and communication on execution of the strategy. A rare opportunity to join a dynamic organization at a pivotal time to shape the future of the TLL organization in the TTR Franchise This position will report to the Vice President, Business Unit Lead TTR Franchise.Summary of Key Responsibilities: Develop and lead the Strategic direction of the TLL organization in line with the Franchise goals Providing recommendation and rationale for evolution of team in light of anticipated expanded Franchise to include Go To Market (GTM) approach, responsibilities and priorities Lead and support the Director and TLL's to execute on plans Lead the TLL insight generation strategy in partnership with key internal stakeholders Identify, develop and lead opportunities for key strategic partnerships with targeted and relevant societies and conferences to support insight generation, educational outreach and collaboration Identify and develop the approach in partnership with the IDN team to support the awareness and increased diagnoses in the community setting through MDT enhancement Develop the strategy to expand education and build advocacy in the mid-level setting Lead the evolution and expansion of the TTR Speaker Bureau Lead the TLL team to operate to the highest standards in alignment with Alnylam's code of conduct, ensuring all interactions with KOLs are on-label and consistent with commercial, regulatory, and legal guidelines.Qualifications: BS/BA degree MBA preferred and/or an advanced science degree Previous TLL Leadership experience preferred Previous Strategic Marketing experience preferred 10+ years of commercial experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry 3-5 years of field experience desirable (preferably in field leadership) Experience and proven success in developing impactful partnerships with societies Experience in developing and implementing KOL strategies through appropriate, compliant and engaging interactions Proven success in developing insight driven strategic plans and business cases to evolve/adapt current approaches with demonstrated positive impact Understanding of/experience in leading a Franchise with multiple assets/indications Experience in balancing portfolio objectives in the post approval and preapproval setting Thorough understanding of the regulatory environment and compliance considerations Proven ability to influence without authority and work with cross-functional teams in the development and delivery of brand strategic imperatives. Thrives in a highly entrepreneurial biotech environment and embraces Alnylam's culture of science, passion, and urgency Maintains a growth mindset and uses curiosity to uncover opportunities for continuous development and improvement Comfortable adapting and leading in ambiguous and changing environments Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and executive presence.
