foundational science harnesses the ability to create and then
direct the differentiation of universal pluripotent stem cells into

engineer these cells, enabling them to produce enzymes, antibodies,

lives.ResponsibilitesIT Vision, Strategy, and RoadmapEstablish and
effectively communicate a cohesive and company-wide IT vision,
strategy, and roadmap in the context of a quickly growing
clinical-stage biotechnology organization with multiple therapeutic
programs.Rapidly build organizational credibility and influence
through thorough understanding of business strategy, the portfolio,
and effective relationship and stakeholder managementDevelop an IT
security roadmap (in collaboration with external experts) to
prevent user/data breaches and in the event of a cybersecurity
attack, identify, protect, and recover data.Develop and implement a
knowledge capture and knowledge sharing platform for the
organization's rapidly growing proprietary data sets; clinical,
manufacturing and pre-clinical.Effective System Prioritization,
Implementation, and Change ManagementSelect and implement suitable
technology to streamline all internal operations and help optimize
their strategic benefits. Oversee the technical infrastructure
across the organization to ensure optimal performance, including
cutting-edge enablement of a geographically dispersed and hybrid
workforce Build the systems, processes, and team required to
support rapid growth and international expansion from research
through late-stage development with a focus on data security and
complianceDefine and establish governance structure that
incorporates cross-functional input into IT systems and
practicesCreate, maintain, and enforce procedures for implementing
and validating new IT systems or versions - including GxP
requirements, as applicable.Participate in the change control
process for new GxP systems and revisions/updates for existing GxP
systems; partner with QA to manage system validation, change
management, periodic reviews, and vendor
assessment/qualification.Oversee or lead internally developed
application coding/designs and test plans, as
applicable.Infrastructure and Service Delivery Leadership and
ManagementOversee data integrity and connectivity of company-wide
IT systems, allowing for maximum automation/integration of internal
and external data reporting requirements.Oversee day-to-day IT
help-desk solution (in collaboration with an external vendor and/or
future hire) for employees' computer hardware and software issues
and its prompt correction.Ensure compliance with corporate policies
and standards aimed at maximizing effectiveness and minimizing
costs related to the acquisition, implementation, and operation of
IT systems. Oversee and manage the IT budget, inventory, and
ongoing expenditures.Ensure robust IT controls are implemented and
remain effectiveand are properly documented for meeting applicable
regulatory requirements.Build and lead a high-quality IT function
that supports a rapidly growing companyCoach, mentor, and provide
development opportunities for the IT team; foster a culture of
innovation, candor, and accountability.RequirementsBachelor's
degree (or above) in computer science or other technology or
related fieldAt least 15 years of proven experience managing IT
within biotech, with:Knowledge of typical IT systems across the
enterprise, G, R, Commercial, and QA systems used at a rapidly
growing life sciences companyExpertise in 21 CFR Part 11, Computer
System Validation, GxP, SOXExperience leading analysis, selection,
implementation and validation of IT systems.Exceptional
communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management
skills with demonstrated success developing relationships and
governance structures across functions at the executive
level.Exemplary leadership capabilities, deeply
experiencedinaligning teams to the goals of the business.
Detail-oriented and hands-on, while having a high-level business
perspective for the synthesis of various projects.Comfortable in a
dynamic environment.Methodical and organized approach to completing
projects.Experiencing in international organizations highly
preferred.Experienced manager capable of building and maintain
