and Delivery Manager will be the operational lead for a set of
research teams, ensuring all operational aspects of IP creation and
client delivery are planned and executed flawlessly. This role
serves as a critical coordination point for research directors and
group research directors, ensuring RAs are utilized effectively and
all IP is scheduled, communicated, and delivered on time. This role
will also coordinate RA support for client engagement through
guidance sessions and ongoing EP client support. Job Description:
Research associate leadership
- Lead and energize a team of three to seven RAs meeting
regularly to discuss research projects, maintain standards, provide
training, and review projects.
- Proactively help RAs prioritize their work and load balance
efforts.
- Coach RAs to achieve product and personal development goals by
tracking progress, offering direction, and acting as a sounding
board.
- Act as a liaison to the research ops and enablement team
providing input into RA training and enablement efforts.
- Research program management.
- Serve as the program manager for the research team's content
plan, coordinating key milestones and deliverables of the
portfolio.
- Coordinate team and/or service-level performance and
operational reporting.
- Collaborate with internal ecosystem to ensure alignment and
coordination between the research teams, publishing, editing,
executive programs, and other parts of the Forrester
ecosystem.
- Be available to troubleshoot problems or connect with ecosystem
partners to remove roadblocks/obstacles as needed.
- Ensure internal systems and processes are updated accordingly
(DocForce, SharePoint, etc.).
- Coordinate RA support for client engagement through guidance
sessions and ongoing EP client support.
- Ensure RA-created guidance session notes and action plans are
documented and of high quality.
- Directly contribute to select client-facing assignments and
deliverables in collaboration with analysts and executive
partners.
- Share important updates on client initiatives and/or engagement
activities as they arise.
- Help identify and develop new "accelerate" IP opportunities
(produce new tools, templates, recordings, etc.) by listening for
common requests coming from EP or VIP/leader FD clients. Job
Requirements:
- A strong track record of academic achievement - a bachelor's
degree as a minimum.
- A strong understanding of the customer and employee experience
issues facing organizations today and of big-picture trends in
business and society.
- The ability to work with a team under tight deadlines and
handle multiple tasks.
- The ability to lead a team of research associates and help them
navigate the research process.
- The ability to understand the executive partner role and help
support their role.
- Superior communication and writing skills. Forrester Research,
