Job DescriptionPosition title and level will be commensurate with experienceWho You AreAs a member of the Neurovascular Global PDC Team, the Sr. Manager/Associate Director will support the organization's efforts to advance the clinical development programs of key Neurovascular assets towards filing and commercialization. He/she will work extensively with cross-functional counterparts (Clinical Development, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Value & Access, Corporate Affairs, Finance, Customer & Market Insights) to prepare Biogen for commercializing these assets and will be required to drive in-depth and comprehensive workstreams while maintaining a high-level strategic mindset.The ideal candidate will have well-rounded commercial experience in biotech/pharma operations, be attracted to the challenge of working in a new and innovative space requiring them to think strategically in a complex and evolving environment and will have a proven ability to take ownership & accountability for their responsibilities. Above all, the candidate must be motivated to advancing the Neurovascular program with the intent of making a meaningful impact to this therapeutic area.The Sr. Manager/Associate Director will report to the Director, Global Commercial Lead (GCL) for the Neurovascular franchise and will work extensively with the global PDC---team across all functions.--- He/she---will be expected to be aware of the needs and priorities of different stakeholders so as to facilitate effective collaboration and be able to co-ordinate workstreams and activities among---a---highly matrixed---team.---What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with the 3M team on the development of a unified global commercialization strategy for both programs in alignment with program timelines and outputs
  • Drive the Integrated Customer Planning (ICP) process (informing global brand strategy development) by effectively collaborating with global and regional cross-functional stakeholders
  • Support the GCL in preparing for executive governance engagements
  • Identify, procure, and manage agency partnerships to deliver key initiatives/projects
  • Drive workstreams for establishing Biogen's Neurovascular franchise identity, developing/vetting global brand names for BIIB093 and BIIB131, and establishing a promotional HCP campaign in alignment with global commercialization strategies
  • Represent commercial interests in cross-functional competitive intelligence & readiness efforts
  • Manage the Global PDC commercial team's finances and budget tracking
  • Support the GCL in developing the go-to-market model for the Neurovascular franchise
  • Collaborate with the GCL in driving market research initiatives and workstreams to advance Biogen's knowledge, understanding and interpretation of the global market landscape
  • Provide strategic and operational support to other core functions represented on the PDC teams
  • Identify & implement innovative approaches for raising internal awareness of the Neurovascular franchise and establishing the pipeline PDC division as an attractive development opportunity for top commercial talentQualifications
    • 5+ years of commercial and operational experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
    • Affiliate in-line experience strongly preferred
    • Experience in the development and execution of marketing strategies is required
    • Excellent planning, analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
    • Outstanding inter-personal and communication skills
    • Experience managing creative/communication agencies and other strategic vendors
    • Self-starter with proven ability to perform in fast paced environments
    • Bachelors degree requiredPreferred Qualifications
      • Broad regional/geographic experience a plus
      • Customer-facing experience a plus
