In Clinical Diagnostics, Waters has leading LC-MS technologies, which are already used for many applications including therapeutic drug monitoring, newborn screening, and endocrinology.With the growth in precision medicine, it is an exciting time for LC-MS in clinical diagnostics. For 10+ years, PCR-NGS techniques have been widely used for clinical diagnostics. Clinicians now want a real-time understanding of disease states, requiring a more complete picture of proteins, lipids, and steroids. LC-MS based assays are critical to provide this level of insight with their analytical specificity, sensitivity, and capacity to analyze simultaneously multiple analytes.Our vision is for Waters to lead the continued broad-based adoption of LC-MS. This will be accelerated by continued innovation including new ionization methods, improved ease of use, as well as novel applications in omics research and anatomical pathology.Reporting to the Director of Commercial Excellence, this position will join a passionate, agile team to develop innovative solutions to address high unmet needs and establish Waters as the leader in clinical LC-MS diagnostics markets. This position is a hyrbid role based out of the Waters Global Headquarters in Milford, Massachusetts 2-3 days per week.

Partner with key stakeholders including field based Clinical Commercial GMs, Sales management, Commercial Excellence, Finance, Marketing, Service & IT to develop and refine as necessary metrics that will connect commercial activities to business performance and assist stakeholders in achieving annual goals.Own and standardize monthly/quarterly commercial business reporting templates, and develop advanced analytics to support specific business performance tracking needs. Report and provide insights to support the decision-making and strategic planning of the sales and marketing management team. Design and construct both standardized and custom analytics tools, dashboards, and reports, utilizing multiple systems/sources including Salesforce reporting and dashboards including Tableau CRM (Einstein), Power BI, SQL and other analytical tools to deliver consistent information to the Field organizationsPerform historical analyses to identify trends, risks and opportunities and develop insights to help drive marketing, sales, and business decisions. Clearly and concisely articulate analytics findings to internal stakeholders in the form of reports and presentations.Champion the data driven decision making approach throughout the organization. Stay current on the latest analytics methodologies, platforms, and best practices.
BS or MS in Marketing, Computer Science, Math, Statistics or similar. MBA a plus. Experience working with CRM platforms, Salesforce highly preferred. Solid understanding of the underlying data structure.Experience working with SAP databases and Power BI preferred. Minimum of 5+ years experience solving business problems through analytics (with a Bachelors Degree) OR, 3+ years experience solving business problems through analytics (with a Masters Degree)Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.Experience working as a global team member on cross functional program teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to succinctly summarize key findings and articulate a clear story with data and then translate to marketing/business implications.
Leadership Skills including the ability to chair & program meetings, influence stakeholders, communicate and work effectively across the wider organizationPrior experience working with IVD products or Medical Devices preferred. Key Skills:
