WHO WE AREAquinnah Pharmaceuticals is a vibrant biotechnology
company located at IPSEN Biolabs, a new state of the art facility
in the heart of Kendall Square, Cambridge, MA, with a focus on
developing novel treatments for ALS and Alzheimer's disease. We are

AbbVie, Pfizer, and Takeda Pharmaceuticals.POSITION SUMMARYWe are
seeking a highly motivated and professional individual contributor
reporting to the CEO. This is a high impact role, that combines
alliance and project management responsibilities and operational
support functions, to advance drug candidates to the clinic in
partnership with Roche, a successful global pharmaceutical company.
A science background and understanding of small molecule
development is highly desirable, but not requiredWHAT YOU WILL
DO
- Partners with the CEO to effectively manage day to day
operations and ensure that a wide variety of projects and
activities across the company are completed on time and to our high
quality expectations
- Partners closely with our internal team, as well as consultants
and external collaborators, to make sure that Aquinnah projects are
set-up and executed successfully. You will drive projects toward
success by keeping the team on track and highly motivated and will
lead project planning, team coordination and dashboard updates, and
communicating with any external partners
- Coordinate scheduling and communication across all levels of
the project team, providing project status to the team, including
meeting minutes and updates, performance-to-program plan,
resourcing, project risks and other critical details and data as
warranted
- Serve as Alliance Director and take a lead role in all
collaboration and communication with Aquinnah partners, managing
project work and touching base frequently with partner staff,
facilitating and leading meetings with members of a global
pharmaceutical joint review committee (JRC)
- Lead (with the internal team) and expertly prepare Board of
Director and Partner presentations, correspondence, and related
materials, including editing for content and clarity as well as
professional presentation
- You will be a role model for professionalism and
confidentiality, self-directed prioritization of work and projects,
and demonstrating measurable progress through open communication to
leaders and team members
- Operational activities may include coordinating lab management
activities and contract IT staff, and administrative activities
such as SAB scheduling and meeting logistics on- or offsite;
budgeting and financial summaries working with our controller,
travel arrangements, room reservations, meeting room logistics and
materials, cateringWHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree with 7+ years of professional
experience in industry, with small molecule drug development
experience and an advanced science degree desirable
- Superior verbal and written communication skills; able to adapt
to different communication styles
- Self-motivated team player with the ability to work
independently under minimal supervision
- Able to work in a high paced, demanding environment, and
interact effectively with leaders, partners, and team members,
maintaining professionalism at all times
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, management, and
organizational skills with attention to detail
- Superior service orientation and quality/accuracy focus
- Excellent problem-solving skills; able to respond to requests
promptly and act proactively
- Exhibits decisiveness and good judgment
- Attentive to details and displays strong follow-up skills
