As a Corporate Program Management Director working on the Strategy & Planning team, you will be responsible for leading successful planning and execution of corporate vision and initiates into practice through program, project, and portfolio management.How you will contribute: This role leads large cross functional teams to execute implementation plans for corporate programs of high strategic importance to the USBU, helping Takeda deliver on its commitments to patients and embed new commercial capabilities across the enterprise and new product launches. The Corporate Program Management Director (CPMO) role plays a key role in ensuring optimal program design, providing efficient program leadership, and ensuring effective issue resolution and resource management to realize program strategic objectives on schedule and within budget. The candidate will work closely with the Leadership Team and commercial cross-functional team to implement programs and their governance across business units and functions in a matrixed environment. It requires a dynamic leader with a strategic approach, high learning agility and strong planning and communication skillsMinimum Requirements/Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; MBA strongly desired 6+ years proven experience managing complex cross-functional initiatives in advanced program or project management role within a commercialization environment required. Expertise in designing, monitoring, monitoring, and controlling programs preferred. Expertise in Launch Excellence, Agile, Six Sigma, , Lean or similar operational excellence approaches strongly preferred. Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes preferred. We are seeking driven, ambitious candidates with prior experience either as consultants to the pharmaceutical and medical devices sectors, or who have experience working directly for a commercial pharmaceutical organization participating in the delivery of complex projects and delivering impactful results. Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to USBU organizational objectives Design, develop and implement the use of program/project management processes, systems, and governance to be deployed at the corporate level of the organization. Develop launch excellence best practices in collaboration with the CPMO. Develop project deliverables including presentations, process flows, spreadsheets, and other written documentation required to memorialize project progress. Examples include scope/charter, requirements, project plan, business cases, and process documents.
