Job Description:
You will become a key part-time member of each client---s
fast-growing organization, where you will learn and understand
their business model, all while being the accounting expert and
day-to-day point of contact. Clients will count on you to help
develop financial controls and procedures, manage the accounting,
finance, and HR aspects of fast-growing companies, and supervise
junior accounting staff as each company scales. In this role, you
will collaborate with your manager to support 4 to 6 clients
simultaneously. Your Responsibilities: Be the day-to-day point of
contact for several clients, including: Lead small, seed stage
clients with guidance and support from Controller Guide and support
Senior Accountants on larger or later-stage clients Manage the
monthly close and annual reporting process Exposure with preparing
investor and board related financial reports and decks Help with
budgets, variance analysis, and cash flow forecasts Be the main
lead when working with Audit, Tax, and Valuation firms Onboard new
employees and process payroll Maintain census and employee records,
and 401(k) compliance Collaborate and support benefits and
corporate insurance brokers Deliver A/P responsibilities and
processing in certain situations All other duties as assigned Your
Qualifications: Bachelor---s degree in Accounting or Finance
required, MBA or advanced degree preferred. Active CPA with 4 years
of progressive accounting experience, preferably public or top
tier. 3 year of project management experience and demonstrated
ability to manage team. Previous experience working in Life Science
or Technology companies desired. Experience seeing projects through
the full life cycle. Working Conditions: Typical office
environment, where the ---office--- is an isolated portion of your
home Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time Ability to
sit or stand for extended periods of time Limited travel: less than
