Job-Specific ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary:The Harvard Global
Health Institute (HGHI) is a cross-university institute and
collaborates with university and external partners around the world
to develop the knowledge that will generate better outcomes for the
health of the world's population. The Institute is led by Louise
Ivers, MD, MPH, DTM&H, Executive Director of the MGH Center for
Global Health, and Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical
School.Reporting to and working in partnership with the Faculty
Director of the Harvard Global Health Institute (HGHI), the
Executive Director is responsible for the execution of the
strategic vision of the Faculty Director and Steering Committee.The
Executive Director will be responsible for oversight of all
administrative and financial activities, including fundraising,
budgeting, space planning, human resources, and communications. The
Executive Director will work closely with several key stakeholders
including, the Office of the President and the Provost (OPP), the
University Development Office (UDO), Harvard Human Resources (HHR),
Harvard University IT (HUIT), and the Office of General Counsel
(OGC).The Institute is seeking an Executive Director who shares
