Job Description:
TEAM: Clinical Computational Sciences
Who We Are:
We're a new kind of biotech, one with a bold mission to bring
innovative new medicines at dramatically lower costs.
What You'll Do:
This role will play a key part in making that vision a reality, by
contributing to the health economics and outcomes research (HEOR)
activities at EQRx. You will contribute to developing a global HEOR
strategic plan for our assets. You will help design, lead, and
conduct HEOR research projects and studies, with a focus on
decision analytics, economic modeling, and comparative
effectiveness analyses supporting reimbursement. You will work
collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to clearly
demonstrate the clinical, economic, and health benefit of EQRx
treatments to reimbursement authorities, payers, clinicians, and
patients.
The Impact You Will Have:
Your work will help to radically lower drug prices and dramatically
expand access to novel therapeutics. This is not your standard HEOR
position. We're not working to justify high prices - instead, your
work will focus on decreasing the barriers to adoption of lower
priced therapies in support of our mission.
Your Superpowers:
You hold a master's or PhD in epidemiology, biostatistics, health
economics, decision sciences, pharmaceutical economics, public
health, or another quantitative, scientific discipline.
You have 5+ years of work experience in the HEOR field.
You have experience conducting health economic evaluations and/or
health decision-analytic modeling (e.g., cost-effectiveness/utility
analyses, budget impact analyses).
You are an expert in R and/or Microsoft Excel/VBA and enjoy
hands-on technical work, learning about new methods and best
practices, and sharing your knowledge with others.
You have contributed to drug dossier and value propositions for
pharmaceutical products, focusing on the HEOR section of the
dossier, and have experience with health technology assessment
(HTA) submission processes
You are problem-solving focused, creative, and practical in how you
apply data to problems.
You love working with data and live for the "aha!" moments where
you use it to answer meaningful questions.
You're energized by the prospect of tackling important problems in
drug development and reimbursement.
You are an expert communicator and are adept at explaining complex
topics to stakeholders with a variety of backgrounds.
You're a team player - you can work effectively on multiple
cross-functional teams and are willing to roll up your sleeves and
get the job done.
You understand relationships are key and have strong interpersonal
skills.
You can thrive in a smaller company environment and love the pace
of a startup.
Bonus points if you have experience in oncology or have worked
directly with reimbursement authorities.
Subject to legally required accommodations , candidates should be
aware that EQRx currently maintains a policy requiring all
employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
