Project Manager for Intellia's Informatics team is responsible for
producing computational services consumed throughout the company by
R&D. We are seeking an individual focused on optimizing the
path to project success. You will establish and refine the process
for setting project milestones, schedule deliverables and manage
the execution of projects within the Informatics team. Your work
streamlining communication between project stakeholders and
implementers will facilitate Intellia's transition during this new
stage where multiple therapies make their way through the clinic to
save and improve lives. Other responsibilities include:
- Thoroughly analyze and understand business needs to guide
prioritization of projects
- Assess and allocate resources to Informatics projects
- Work with scientists to guide products from conception to
adoption
- Collaborate with developers to determine time estimates for
deliverables
- Optimize cadence and predictability of project iterations
- Leverage project management analytics to improve each cycle's
value
About You:You are a Project Manager
interested in applying your skills and abilities to bring
lifesaving science to patients. Qualified candidates will have a
Bachelors' or Masters' degree and experience managing projects that
deliver and raise the value of an organization. Your experience
includes interacting cross-functionally to build relationships in
science-based research and development environments. You have
experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and
demonstrated leadership in an iterative and incremental approach to
the SDLC. Previous interaction with technologies including:
- Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft
Teams, GitHub
- Modern service-based architectures
- Cloud / AWS systems
- Issue tracking applications e.g., GitHub issues, Jira
- LIMS or laboratory softwareMeet your future team:The software
engineering team resides within Genomic Operations partnering with
computational sciences, automation engineering, genomics and
screening. Software engineers work with their scientific
counterparts to streamline workflows and create web-based data
services with high regard for quality. Additionally, the
Informatics team serves development and operational functions of
our AWS cloud-based infrastructure. We manage several remote domain
specific contractors to supplement internal resources.We are
primarily remote with the occasional visit to the laboratory when
onsite testing is required. By utilizing modern development
methodologies and remote conferencing tools we have maintained a
high level of productivity and software delivery. If you join our
