In your role as a member of the Integrations team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the primary conduit engine for getting data in and out of Invitae to 3rd parties and EHRs. The genetic testing space is moving and growing quickly. We are looking for a product leader who can guide us through this transformation. Your experience, passion, and leadership skills will lay the foundation for Invitae's continued success. What you'll be doing: Define and maintain the overall vision for one or more of our platform product pillars from visioning to deployment Innovate on behalf of multiple customer groups Identify needs, opportunities, and gaps, and accordingly drive product strategy, roadmap, and features Lead the product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical execution Lead the functional design and product experience Define, measure, and report on key metrics related to your platform area Lead interlocking dependencies across various partner groups while ensuring challenges are identified and resolved Lead stakeholder and executive engagement What you bring: Ability to think strategically and implement methodically Demonstrated experience working with engineering teams to define, scope, and prioritize product requirements Detailed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present sophisticated information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions. Experience contributing to engineering discussions about technology decisions and strategy related to a product Experience leading all aspects of roadmap strategy and definition Skilled at operating in a highly ambiguous environment where most things have to be flushed out and/or built from scratch Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior executives Preferred: Experience with sending and/or receiving data from EHRs Preferred: Experience with HL7 and FHIR Preferred: An outstanding blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision as well as the drive and attention to detail that transforms the vision into a reality Preferred: Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and driving innovation on behalf of internal and external customers Preferred: Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, handle tradeoffs, and evaluate opportunistic ideas with internal and external partners Preferred: Proven track record to lead multiple priorities simultaneously Preferred: History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done By joining Invitae, you'll work alongside some of the world's experts in genetics and healthcare at the forefront of genetic medicine.
