Job Summary:

Acting with an enterprise perspective and partnering with the VP mRNA Program, the incumbent will play a critical role in defining process, including governance, to enable sound portfolio decisions are made by the Leadership Team. - Additionally, the incumbent will - be responsible for ensuring the mRNA program is appropriately resourced and monitor to successfully deliver the program from development through to - commercialization. Accountable for development and day-to-day management of a fully integrated, cross-functional program view, inclusive of all critical path activities and key development, operations and commercialization milestones. Advisor to function project management and/or program management to ensure the processes and tools used to solve problems are fit for purpose

Major Accountabilities:

Leads and directs cross-product projects in alignment with the integrated strategic plan for mRNA
Facilitates integrated program risk assessments and ensures timely escalation and resolution of issues.
Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to identify platform synergies across the portfolio of mRNA products and seeks efficiencies
Drives the development and implementation of consistent project tools, templates and reports that deliver informative performance metrics and other critical information to stakeholders
Resolves escalated, portfolio-level risks / issues, weighs risks logically and actively supports or drives the mitigation / resolution, as needed
Advocate in special projects to ensure alignment of the value of project / program and portfolio management processes, tools and technology

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or higher in life-sciences, medical-related sciences or public health with specialization in Project Management.
12 years' experience including senior manager/executive level or higher in a life science company.
Extensive relationship management experience, able to engage productively with internal and external stakeholders.
Significant experience managing budgets across multiple high-value projects.
Experience within pharmaceutical/biotech/other regulated industry preferred
Demonstrated success managing global projects
