What's in it for you?. We are seeking a talented and passionate individual to join the Medical Communications team. Reporting to the Associate Director of Medical Communications, and as part of the Medical Communications & Training group, you will be responsible for driving timely and impactful dissemination of scientific and clinical data for the assigned compounds, including the pulmonary franchise, in close collaboration with stakeholders across R&D and Commercial. You will also be responsible for supporting the planning and execution of key deliverables such as the publication strategy, internal and external medical education, development of materials for field teams, as well as being a key contributor to the medical congress strategy and fostering relationships with professional societies. This highly dynamic role in a rapidly growing company affords the opportunity to bring new ideas and past experiences to grow and shape the department into a high functioning communications team. What will you be doing?: Develop and execute on global medical communications strategy, focused on priority publications, internal and external medical education, and congress support. Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to develop and maintain the scientific communication platform. Accountable for developing and maintaining a core slide library of disease and therapeutic landscape, in addition to clinical data, for use as internal training tool and adapted for external materials. Partner with the Medical Information team and other key stakeholders to ensure strong medical presence at global congresses. Collaborate with the Global Medical Directors to proactively engage with professional societies to develop partnerships to facilitate timely and impactful dissemination of scientific and clinical data. Develop publication and medical communication resources including slide decks for internal and external use for, but not limited to, advisory boards, training, and field medical use. Ensure the scientific integrity, quality, and accuracy of all deliverables during preparation, prior to internal review and dissemination of materials. Oversee Medical Communications agencies and contractors to ensure timely delivery of projects with requisite quality. What are we looking for?: Advanced degree (Master's, PharmD, PhD, or MD) required. 2-3+ years of Medical Affairs/Medical Communications or related industry experience. Located in the greater Boston area; candidates working remotely must be willing to relocate to the greater Boston area by end of 2021. Excellent written and oral communications skills. Strong scientific background (especially in pulmonary or rare disease) preferred: Certification (CMPP) by the International Society of Medical Publications Professionals (ISMPP) desired. Ability to travel 10-20% of the time (when travel is permitted). Experience with using publication planning and management programs (Datavision, PUBSTRAT) desired. Knowledge of Good Publication Practices and ICMJE. Ability to effectively anticipate problems, proactively find creative solutions, and demonstrate strong organizational skills. Ability to thrive with multiple deliverables and tight timelines. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally. How will you grow with us?.
