Urbanity Dance is seeking experienced, responsible, and energetic Residential Director for Urbanity Dances three week Summer Intensive program serving students ages 11-24 years old from July 22nd to August 10th, 2019 at the MassArt TreeHouse residential halls. The Residential Director is to be on hand to organize activities, handle any issues, order meals on the weekends, enforce policies, and work with students to see that everyone is adjusting well and having a positive experience while away from home. The RD also manages the two Residential Assistants. Position is full time come program for the three weeks, requires part - time hours leading up to the program to make sure the RA onboarding is planned, room assignments are done, and the schedule for the staff (Resident Director, two Resident Assistants) is solidified. As an administrator in Urbanitys Summer Program this individual would be asked to assist in supervising students travel to and from the dormitories and the studio, as well as acting as a chaperone on weekend trips and nights out. Candidates must have experience working with children and teenagers in a supervisory role. No dance experience needed.
