EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, MIT Climate and Sustainability Consortium (MCSC) , to provide leadership and vision and establish priorities and new partnerships; and strategically direct the development, implementation, and vision of MCSC to accelerate the implementation of large-scale, real-world solutions, across sectors, to help meet the global climate emergency. Will implement strategic goals, oversee partnerships and collaborations with a wide variety of stakeholders, and run day-to-day operations; sustain an environment in which faculty and industry collaborators from a variety of disciplines will want to come together to develop collaborative efforts; drive forward the strategic plan for the implementation, curricular, and outreach activities of the MCSC; and lead fund-raising efforts. Will also be responsible for the administration and management of MCSC business operations, including staff and program management and evaluation, communications, partnerships, and finances; optimizing the organizational structure, delegating responsibilities, and supporting staff in their professional success and growth; and working closely with the MCSC administrative officer to oversee financial operations. Job Requirements
  REQUIRED: a bachelor's degree; at least seven years' experience leading programs related to climate change and sustainability; excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills; experience building successful partnerships and collaborations; and a track record of success in major fund-raising. PREFERRED: an advanced degree, experience navigating a university setting like MIT, and leadership experience in the global development sector.-- Job #19297-12
