Director, US Market Development, ADPKD -Rare Diseases Cambridge,
MA Position Overview: The Director , US Market Development, ADPKD
will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive thought
leadership strategy and tactical plan to drive the launch of a
priority pipeline product in ADPKD (autosomal dominant polycystic
kidney disease), which is one of the most common, life-threatening
genetic diseases. Key management responsibilities include
developing strategic educational initiatives in partnership with
the Renal scientific community that will prepare the market to
ensure best-in-class launch of a new therapy for ADPKD in the US,
while securing future growth. Subsequently, this individual will be
responsible for implementing these programs to positively impact
not only HCPs, but also payers and other key stakeholders. As a
priority asset within Sanofi, this role will offer individuals
opportunities for broad company exposure and exciting career
development within a growing team. This role will be based in
Cambridge and will report into the Sr Director ADPKD Marketing.
Sanofi US is only considering candidates who are currently legally
eligible to work in the U.S Key responsibilities include: Translate
product and therapeutic area science into actionable and impactful
educational strategies and tactics that resonate with core
physician targets and the Renal scientific community Manage key
global thought leader influence and centers of excellence mapping
strategy, KOL mapping, KOL engagement plan & execution Develop the
Peer-to-Peer education strategy and program Lead planning and
execution of Commercial advisory boards to gain insights across
specialties and HCP segments Lead national congress planning and
activities including sponsored symposia Develop key thought leader
working group and speaker bureau Develop a comprehensive
understanding of the disease state(s), the competitive landscape
and the overall market to develop high-impact and differentiating
market conditioning strategies/tactics Key strategic liaison with
Thought Leaders Liaisons, Medical leadership, Publications,
Outcomes, EBM, etc. as appropriate to Lead Relationship Management
with identified scientific societies Develop and maintain strong
relationships with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams
that support the brands Manage agencies and vendors as needed to
develop and execute industry leading marketing and educational
programs Willing to travel approximately 30%. Required
Qualifications : Proven Renal market experience and a deep
understanding of the US renal landscape Bachelor's degree and 8+
years of relevant commercial experience in the pharmaceutical or
biopharmaceutical industries. Experience in market development
strategies and tactics Strong business and science background, with
proven ability to work with Medical experts Preferred
Qualifications: MBA or other graduate level degree preferred Launch
experience Sales and/or Thought Leader Liaison experience
Professional Skills: Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and
communication skills. Ability to think creatively and lead
innovative projects. Strategic thinking and flawless execution with
proven ability to prioritize Proven team player with ability to
build consensus in a matrix environment The successful candidate
