SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER, MAKE IMPACT CONSORTIUM, MIT Innovation Initiative (MITii), to aid the director by developing options for managing and growing existing activities and seeding new outreach activities and programs that are related to Project Manus ' support of making and innovation. Will vet the preceding, along with modifications for program future directions and vision, with director and then be responsible for implementation. Responsibilities include setting the value proposition for members, recruiting new members, and establishing and cultivating relationships with members of the Make Impact Consortium (MIC) ; planning, marketing, building enthusiasm for, and managing major events related to the consortium; and helping to undertake efforts to study, strategize, and seed new activities/programs for MIC and other programs. May also work with others in Project Manus to draft proposals for funding via a variety of means.-- Job Requirements
  REQUIRED: bachelor's degree; at least five years' relevant experience in development, sales, customer relations, fund-raising, consortium building and cultivation, etc.; strong organizational, planning, time-management, interpersonal, written communication, and presentation skills; attention to detail; self-motivation; and a desire to learn core maker skills. Must be able to initiate, collaborate, implement, monitor, evaluate, and advance strategic plans that support the activities of the consortium and Project Manus; work independently; manage multiple projects and priorities to meet challenging deadlines; and seek out root causes of issues, conceive innovative solutions to problems, and then move from concept to implementation. Seek someone who has experience in, or a strong desire to learn about, making tools and technology and how they support and affect innovation, e.g., university innovation ecosystems.
