The Director, Commercial Finance is responsible for developing and maintaining analyses for the company's revenue-generating activities. This role offers a mix of strategic, operational and financial work and the opportunity to collaborate with a wide array of cross-functional stakeholders to help drive business success. The Director, Commercial Finance will play a key role in the gross to net and contract analysis for the company's current commercial product and will serve as a key member of the team in preparing for the company's next potential product launch. This role will support continuous forecast improvement efforts, contract analysis and strategy, and scenario planning.

• Develop and maintain analyses on payer mix trending, segment analyses and customer contract performance
• Collaborate with Government Pricing and Market Access teams to understand relevant government regulations and contracts with PBMs and third-party payors for incorporation into GTN analyses
• Assess current data available and identify potential data gaps to enhance GTN accounting and forecasting process
• Leverage data and technology to establish analyses on inventory in the channel
• Partner with senior Commercial leaders in evaluating payer and PBM contract strategy and generating analyses to support decision-making
• Work with the Commercial Operations team in the management of revenue budget and forecasts, particularly budget-to-actual analyses, GTN reserves and net price
• Analyze budget and forecast versus actual GTN results, identify key drivers, communicate insights to Finance and Commercial leadership, and develop methods to enhance the forecast
• Develop new or enhance existing gross to net reporting and dashboards to meet the needs of Finance and Commercial leadership
• Utilize latest trends and rebate information to concisely summarize impact to GTN in current and future periods
• Act as primary Finance lead for ad hoc scenario analyses for various forecasting and commercial planning requests
• Collaborate with Commercial team in development of analyses in support of pricing considerations
• Partner with Commercial and Business Development teams to assess market opportunities for pipeline assets
• Partner with Accounting to support the monthly close process for GTN as it relates to assumptions and estimates used based on historical trends and current forecasts
• Provide valuation expertise for Business Development transactional support to ensure proper accounting through the transaction
• Responsible for driving key valuation processes required for SEC purposes, including intangible impairment and other valuation-driven analyses Required Experience Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting or finance required
  • 8+ years of relevant finance, accounting or consulting experience Preferred Qualifications:
    • Prior experience with life sciences industry
    • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
    • Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting or related area
    • Extensive experience with product revenue and GTN is a plus
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
    • Strong written & verbal communication skills including with executive leadership
    • Desire to work in a rapidly growing organization
    • Willing and able to contribute across a variety of areas as business needs evolve
    • Proven ability to build productive working relationships with various levels, functions and teams
