Job Description:
Laboratory Technician II Job Summary: Talent Software Services
is in search of a Laboratory Technician for a contract position in
Marlborough, MA. The opportunity will be six months with a strong
chance for a long-term extension. Position Summary: This position
works independently to assist R&D engineers, scientists, and/or
teams in the development and analysis of products, materials,
processes, or equipment. Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Develop concepts and accordingly construct prototypes/products from
concepts. Utilize basic mechanical drawing or CAD software to
document prototypes and fixtures. Explore and propose creative
solutions based on solid rationales and contribute to design and
process concepts. Organize, coordinate, and execute building and
testing of prototypes/products per engineering instructions. Assist
project teams in establishing specifications and quality standards.
Use internal resources and qualified external vendors to assist
engineering teams to identify and obtain supplies and services. Act
as a resource to other employees. Communicate project status to
project teams. Build Quality into all aspects of their work by
maintaining compliance to all quality requirements. Qualifications:
AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline and 3
years of related, recent, experience. Must be detail oriented with
good communication skills Labview experience is desired. Experience
with laboratory test equipment is preferred, Experience with
Medical Devices Preferred Experience with Electrical Experience
