Job Description
Angst-Pfister is rapidly expanding its new US entity and is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Application Engineer (SAE) to join our dynamic Sales Team. The SAE will increase sales by growing existing customer accounts, focusing on strengthening current business partnerships, and creating new business relationships. The goal is to become a Trusted Advisor to your key customers.
Your Mission


  • Generate and develop new business with new customers in your designated territory.
  • Manage key accounts of our large existing customers.
  • Win new customers for our sensor product portfolio in industrial, medical, and transportation markets.
  • Launch new products in coordination with our product management and development teams.
  • Maintain direct customer contact and manage relationships effectively.
  • Provide technical support to customers and understand sensor applications and requirements.

    Your Profile

    • Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or successful experience as a developer, product manager, or technical sales representative in the sensor industry.
    • At least 5 years of relevant experience in the sensor industry.
    • Expertise in selling pressure or flow sensors (or sensor components).
    • Enthusiastic about independent, technical, and success-oriented work aligned with our corporate culture.
    • Experience with sales tracking software.
    • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills.
    • Ability to overcome commercial and technical objections.
    • Problem-solving skills and ability to handle various variables.
