About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Coatings Engineer to join our talented and diverse technical team. This position will own the application of actnano's innovative waterproofing solutions for customers in the Americas and key global accounts. This position will also require developing an expertise in our coating technologies and honing processes for optimal application of our coatings to a variety of printed circuit boards.
As a Senior Coatings Engineer, you will:

• Lead technical support for our customers by working closely with our global sales and field-deployed global technical service teams. Must ensure the on-time completion of customer activities, including leading technical calls with customers, managing customer samples, and experimental support for the customer opportunities they own;
• Be a trusted technical expert to our customers and establish and maintain positive relationships with key technical contacts and decision makers at our customers;
• Understand and implement coating application approaches on a variety of customer samples in customers' production lines with our field-deployed technical team. And contribute to improved processes for factory-level support;
• Lead development of novel application techniques and new test methodologies to address market and customer requirements;
• Communicate technical advances internally with other members of the company and be able to engage customers on the details of our products;
• Establish relationships with vendors to expand actnano capabilities and address customer needs;
• Participate in occasional international and domestic business travel;
  Who We Need
  Our ideal Senior Coatings Engineer will possess the following experience and skills:
  
  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or Electrical Engineering;
  • Experience with Technical Project Management;
  • Experience with the application of coatings and manufacturing processes is preferred;
  • Experience designing or testing printed circuit boards is a plus;
