About the role: Join Takeda as a Process Science Engineer II where

Support ongoing operations on the manufacturing floor. Troubleshoot
process issues; monitor and evaluate process data for downstream
operations including but not limited to capture step operations
filtration (NF, UF/DF) unite operations, chromatography column
performance/integrity and drug substance formulation/bottling.
Provide inspection support. Provide weekend on-call coverage on a
rotation. Support the transfer of phase I, II/III clinical
processes into the existing GMP manufacturing facilities as define
by Tech Transfer group. You will work with manufacturing staff to
identify continuous improvement opportunities to improve the
consistency and robustness of process operations. Assist in
development of training initiatives. Quality System Support with
consistent and well documented response to process operations
events to support investigations, deviation closure as well
assistance to change control/CAPA as appropriate. You will work
with important subject matter experts (SMEs) from the Manufacturing
Sciences team and groups such as Automation Engineering, Process
Development, Manufacturing and Quality Assurance to provide
solutions to manufacturing issues. Focus on problems of diverse
scope that requires evaluation of identifiable factors, good
understanding of process principles, manufacturing concepts and
quality standards. Work with senior personnel on matters requiring
coordination between organizations. What you bring to Takeda:
BS in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering or Bio/Chemistry 2 or more
years of process development/manufacturing experience for the cell
culture/purification of recombinant proteins. Experience with
large-scale cell culture or purification processes with clinical or

in a cold, wet environment. Work around chemicals such as alcohol,
