Job Description:
Key Responsibilities: Operations & Maintenance: Performs,
supervises, and reports on mechanical maintenance, hydraulic
simulations, and equipment functionality on-site. Safety
Leadership: Acts as a safety leader, participating in rig-based
safety programs, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and risk management.
Project Execution: Plans, coordinates, and executes installation,
troubleshooting, and decommissioning of subsea or rig equipment.
Reporting & Data: Prepares operational reports, wellsite data
analysis, as-built documentation, and post-job debriefings. Liaison
& Support: Acts as the technical contact for clients, vendors, and
sub-contractors on-site. Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree
in Engineering (Mechanical, Petroleum, or related). Experience:
Prior experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
Certifications: Valid BOSIET/FOET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction
and Emergency Training) and a Seaman's Book are typically required.
Skills: Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting abilities, and
excellent communication. Physical Ability: Willingness to work in
remote, offshore environments, often on rotation (e.g., 28 days).
Work Environment: Requires working offshore for extended periods,
traveling by helicopter or boat. Often involves high-pressure,
fast-paced work in complex, hazardous environments.
