Position Summary
The HCP Marketing Operations Specialist will work hand-in-hand with the Lead, MLR Review & Marketing Operations on initiatives for post-approval success focusing on Speaker Event management, HCP Congress activities, Aggregate Spend, and other support as needed. In this role you will manage cross-functional project work and collaborate with teams in support of the above-mentioned initiatives.
The HCP Marketing Operations Specialist will have knowledge of industry best practices, be able to tactically execute project-based work, prioritize, and manage ongoing action items. In this role you will have a good deal of autonomy, assisting in setting the overall strategy and general flow in Marketing Operations, carrying out details, documenting processes, reporting, capturing best practices, and connecting essential people across the organization to build consistency.

  • Establish and maintain standards, processes, best practices, identify efficiencies
  • Ensure that data in relevant applications is populated, maintained, updated, and distributed to key stakeholders providing guidance and direction for leadership
  • Create project schedules, communication plans, meeting schedules, agendas, reporting for Lead in PPT, Excel, and Word, review for formatting and quality control
  • Manage and continue to improve upon APEX Speaker Events processes, planning including contracting, business rules, ongoing management, training, etc.
  • Liaise with IT, Sales Operations, Commercial Field teams, and other cross-functional partners in the ongoing management and enhancements of Veeva Events
  • Act as a key stakeholder and aggregate spend Sunshine Transparency reporting buildout and ongoing management for the Marketing Operations team
  • Act autonomously and assume responsibility to the client for the quality of the finished product
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field
    • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience; healthcare industry experience a plus
    • Minimum 2 years of Project Management experience required
    • Minimum 2 years of experience within Pharmaceutical Marketing Operations (pre-launch products and bringing to market) preferred
    • Life Sciences or Healthcare required,experience with MLR Review Processes and Tools, Congresses/ Conventions, Speaker Programs, and Aggregate Spend preferred
      Preferred Qualifications:
      • Exhibit strong professional communication skills, including problem solving, vendor management, and multi-tasking, thrives in a busy, less structured environment
      • Work autonomously, manage own time effectively, maintain control over own projects/responsibilities
      • Establish relationships and cross-functional collaboration at all levels in the organization, working hand-in-hand with client leadership, be a team player
      • Strong attention to detail in composing and proofing materials, establishing priorities, scheduling, and meeting deadlines
      • Have an extensive working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
      • Use scheduling, productivity, and communication tools including Excel spreadsheets, and video conferencing technologies
