You may contact 888-367-7223, option 5, for assistance. In this role, you have the opportunity to Lead the upstream portfolio marketing team for Acute Care. The focus is on developing integrated value propositions that define both current and future Acute Care portfolio in depth. You will be part of the Portfolio Marketing team in Connected Care. Portfolio Marketing develops a fact-based "Where to Play" and "How to Win" strategy using deep customer insights around unmet needs, customer journeys, patient care pathways and desired clinical outcomes. The lead of upstream of Portfolio Marketing is ultimately responsible for the selection of integrated value propositions (IVP) built on the breadth and depth of Philips technology and services. These IVPs drive alignment, investment, and execution across business categories to deliver holistic offers in alignment with the Cluster strategic plan. In addition, you will be responsible for merging the individual solutions into Acute Care with a focus on Monitoring & Analytics - from a marketing perspective. Here you work very closely with Portfolio Management together. You are responsible for (but not limited to) Leading the team of the upstream portfolio managers for Acute Care and take over the responsibility for:

  • Identifying new opportunity areas where Philips can play, based on analysis of target audience needs, competitor insights, and market, clinical, and technological trends
  • Working with Markets, Categories, Insights & Analytics, and other functions to conduct ability to win and cost to win analyses, driving alignment around success criteria (requirements) and 'what must be true' (strategic enablers) to deliver on unmet customer needs
  • Leading the Integrated Value Proposition (IVP) process to facilitate transfer of inputs to the businesses (including requirements for new products, propositions, platforms, claims, and capability requirements)
  • Setting up and maintaining product/solution/services roadmaps that align investments and critical milestones across innovation, clinical, business, and markets
  • Creating relevant KPIs and monitoring performance of the integrated value propositions against targets
  • Defining and driving execution of performance improvements plans with the business (category leaders, product managers, business development managers) and markets In addition, your focus needs to be on:
    • Execute on annual cross-category marketing plan per business including input into integrated value proposition (persona level) and the overall portfolio strategy (at business level). Work with category leaders and Cluster Professional Services Leader, if applicable, to develop portfolio investment strategy, including portfolio choices and rationalization, based on our "ability to win" in prioritized market segments for that business
    • Translate Cluster marketing strategy to business level; identify new solutions offerings in collaboration with the Category Leads, Cluster Professional Services Leader, if applicable, and I2M per business. Assist in proof-of-concept testing with target customers. Develop strategic reference sites to help build brand awareness and asset library (i.e. proof points) at business level
    • In partnership with key markets, generate and update customer (persona: user, influencer, buyer) segmentation based on customer decision journeys and value drivers to accelerate profitable growth
    • Drive and help formulate necessary market conditioning / shaping strategies consistent with Source of Business (which may include claims roadmap, pre and post market studies and market access/health economics components) across categories, per business in close collaboration with Clinical Affairs & HEOR, CMO and BDM. You are a part of: Portfolio Marketing team in Connected Care To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
      • Ability to build and nurture effective relationships within the matrix by developing strong cooperation with peers within the market, cross business, and cross function
      • Bringing people together and aligning around common goals; leverages the power of Philips independent from organizational structures and reporting lines
      • Minimum undergraduate degree and 5+ years of related professional experience, preferably in a medical or healthcare technology company in marketing or product management roles
      • Proven track record developing and executing integrated product, service, and solution roadmaps based on markets trends and customer unmet needs
      • Ability to build and nurture effective relationships within the matrix by developing strong cooperation with peers within the market, business, and functions
      • Driven by a strong external focus with ability to develop relationships with key customers and KOLs
      • Exceptional problem-solving skills, including being able to find solutions to difficult, ambiguous, or complex issues
