Are you looking to make an impact in a rapidly growing non-profit organization? The Center for Reimagining Learning (tCRIL) is seeking an Executive Administrative Assistant to support our Executive Team and the organization. This is one of the most visible and important roles within the Executive function. You'll be relied upon for drafting executive communications, coordinating meetings and materials, and other matters related to keeping the executive function running smoothly. You'll also coordinate and execute org-wide functions and events as well as keep our co-work space ready for the team to use. As is so often the case in a start-up mission driven organization youll also lend a hand where needed on additional activities.

    About The Center For Reimagining Learning (tCRIL)

    The Center for Reimagining Learning (tCRIL) is the interim name for the nonprofit formed upon the sale of EdX to 2U. Led by Harvard and MIT, tCRIL is focused on closing the learning and opportunity gap through the development of new partnerships, digital tools and strategies. tCRIL will devote significant resources to forging partnerships with higher education institutions, government, employers and nonprofit organizations to tackle long standing inequities in education and workforce reskilling needs. tCRIL will also advance online teaching and learning platforms and research in all these areas.

    • Support the executive team and organization on a broad range of administrative issues, often time sensitive and confidential in nature.
    • Perform end-to-end meeting management involving both basic and complex scheduling, various video and telephone conferencing technologies, agenda communication, room and technology setup, location logistics management, catering, and sometimes note-taking (as needed).
    • Manage all aspects of the executive calendars.
    • Coordinate all arrangements for domestic and international business travel including booking flights, hotel and local transportation, providing agendas and itineraries, arranging for passport/visa requirements when necessary, and other related activities.
    • May require support outside of office hours in some cases for executive team support or after hour events.
    • Manage expense reporting for supported staff by preparing and submitting expense reports, often including complex international travel-related transactions.
    • Be prepared to receive external guests, international visitors, and other important partners of tCRIL at events or the co-work space.
    • Coordinate and actively support tCRIL group events and gatherings including supporting agenda creation for the facilitator, location or event procurement and set-up, food, and associated needs.
    • Ensure that our co-work space is ready for action which includes managing support tickets, mail support, routine inventory and stocking.
    • Ad hoc requests commensurate with a 15-person firm (we all pitch in!).

      Education, Skills, and Abilities:
      • 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant to a VP or C-suite executive; in such roles, has had progressively responsible administrative experience
      • 5+ years of experience overseeing and running, in a hands-on way, a small team office
      • Superior verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills
      • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple competing priorities and projects, while maintaining attention to detail
      • Exceptional ability to interact effectively with multiple external & internal stakeholders
      • Performs well on a variety of tasks while remaining effective in a high-volume, fast-paced, start-up environment; able to juggle a large workload
      • Must be proficient in: Google for Business, Microsoft Office Suite as well as other relevant enterprise business organization and communication systems.
