seeking a Technical Associate to join our Information Technology
Services (ITS) group as an Office 365Automation Engineer.--The
staff member will be responsible for day-to-day Office 365
administration including license allocation, support, planning and
deployment of new services. SCCM administration to include
re-packaging applications, creating and updating workstation
images, and deploying security and operating system updates.
Mathematica ITS seeks people with a broad set of technical skills
and a history of delivering innovative and cost-effective IT
solutions, who at their core are passionate about technology and
confident in their ability to tackle any challenge which is
presented to them. Responsibilities & Technical Skills ---
Knowledgeable of core Office 365 services including Intune,
Exchange Online, SharePoint, Project Online, Teams as well as
experience deploying and managing Office 365 installed applications
(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
--- Identity management/Single Sign on administration experience
(Microsoft Active Directory, Azure SSO, Azure Active Directory,
Conditional Access Policy, Group Policy Management).
--- Experience in administration of Office 365 tenant in an
Enterprise environment. Microsoft Office 365 subject matter
expert.
--- At least 3+ years of application administration experience in
Microsoft Office 365. Proven track record of problem identification
and analysis, critical thinking, ability to troubleshoot
technologies.
--- Experience in administration and configuration of SCCM in an
Enterprise environment.
--- Contributes to development and ongoing improvement of industry
best practices and standards for deploying enterprise desktop
technologies.
--- Knowledge of the Windows registry, interaction of drivers
within the OS, and unattended/silent installs of Windows operating
systems.
--- Provides technical expertise, guidance and strategic
recommendations to other IT groups.
--- Investigates, analyzes and resolves technical issues and
actively pursues mechanisms for preventing or automating the
response to reoccurrences.
--- At least 3 years' experience utilizing PowerShell to automate
common functions. Position Requirements:
Education --- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or
computer-related field.
--- Minimum 5+ years' experience in IT role.
--- Minimum 3+ years' experience managing Office 365. Skills and
Attributes: --- A self-motivated person.
--- Must be able to work independently.
--- Exceptional problem-solving skills.
--- Be customer service oriented.
--- Have excellent English written and verbal communication
skills.
--- Possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
--- Flexible and accommodating to working overtime or off hours
when necessary. Other Requirements: --- Occasional evening and
weekend work may be required.
--- Security clearance may be required. As a federal government
contractor, all staff working in our central ITS group with access
to corporate computer systems are required to successfully undergo
a background investigation and may require a security clearance as
a condition of employment.

This position offers an anticipated base salary of $85,000-$130,000
annually. This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus
based on company and individual performance.
