Job Description Job Description The Accounting & Inventory
Support Specialist supports centralized dealership accounting
operations by ensuring accurate vehicle inventory records, timely
wholesale and intercompany processing, and consistent accounts
receivable execution. This role partners closely with dealership
teams and accounting leadership to resolve discrepancies, reinforce
standards, and support month-end close activities. Operating within
Nucar's DRIVEit service culture, this role emphasizes accuracy,
organization, and disciplined execution to maintain financial
integrity across inventory and receivables. PRIMARY
RESPONSIBILITIES Process and reconcile wholesale vehicle swaps,
including required documentation and accounting entries Input,
maintain, and update accurate new and used vehicle inventory
records in dealership systems Process intercompany vehicle
transfers, ensuring proper inventory movement and accounting
treatment Post, reconcile, and research accounts receivable
payments, resolving discrepancies as needed Support month-end close
activities related to inventory and accounts receivable balances
Monitor inventory and AR variances, escalating discrepancies to
accounting leadership as needed Support reconciliation of inventory
schedules and AR balances to the general ledger Communicate with
Sales, management, and dealership locations to resolve inventory or
accounting issues Maintain organized records in compliance with
internal controls and dealership policies Assist with audit
requests, documentation reviews, and internal control verification
Identify process gaps and support continuous improvement in
inventory and AR workflows Execute responsibilities with accuracy,
accountability, and disciplined execution aligned with DRIVEit KEY
OUTCOMES & PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS Vehicle inventory records are
accurate, current, and properly reflected in dealership systems
Wholesale and intercompany transactions are processed accurately
and timely Accounts receivable payments are posted correctly with
minimal discrepancies Inventory and AR activities support timely
month-end close and financial reporting Internal controls and
documentation standards are consistently followed Accounting and
dealership partners receive reliable, professional support
Consistent alignment with DRIVEit is demonstrated through accuracy,
accountability, and execution discipline QUALIFICATIONS Previous
dealership accounting experience strongly preferred Working
knowledge of vehicle inventory accounting, including new, used, and
wholesale vehicles Experience with intercompany transactions and
accounts receivable processing Familiarity with dealership DMS
systems (e.g., Tekion, Reynolds & Reynolds) preferred Proficiency
in Excel and basic accounting principles Strong attention to detail
with the ability to manage multiple priorities Effective
communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Service-oriented mindset with a high standard for accuracy and
follow-through WORK ENVIRONMENT & REQUIREMENTS Full-time position
On-site presence required Fast-paced, multi-location dealership
environment Periodic extended hours may be required during
