Job Description Job Description A rapidly growing company is seeking an Assistant Controller in the Boston Metro Area to join its U.S. finance organization. This newly created role will report directly to the Controller and help lead core accounting operations during an important period of growth and internal transformation. This is a strong opportunity for someone ready to step into a leadership role and grow into increased responsibility over time. The Job Support oversight of accounting operations including close, reporting, and compliance Partner with the Controller on month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting deliverables Strengthen internal controls and drive process improvement initiatives Coordinate with external auditors across U.S. and international audit requirements Provide mentorship and guidance to accounting staff as the team scales Assist in building scalable reporting structures as the organization continues to grow globally Deliver insights and analysis to support strategic finance decision-making Required Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 6 years of progressive accounting management experience 2-3 years of prior managerial experience Strong GAAP knowledge and experience in complex reporting environments International or multi-entity experience CPA required Compensation & Benefits Target salary: ~$115,000 - $140,000 Onsite
