Responsibilities
As a Senior Underwater Acoustics Physicist, the candidate will play
a critical role in the development and understanding of acoustics
in oceanic environments, acoustic sensing, and novel acoustic
measurement and detection methods. The candidate will work closely
with a team of engineers and physicists to conceive, model, design,
develop, and characterize prototype water-based acoustic sensors,
systems, and technology platforms. Experience using or interpreting
sonar data and field testing underwater acoustic devices is highly
desired.
