In this dynamic role you will work with the organization to track and analyze key operational data and lead business analysis projects, including developing real-time visual management tools using Tableau, Smart Sheets, and Alteryx type programs. Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for staying advised of standard methodologies, technologies, and tools; will provide innovative, impactful ideas to optimize processes to support the organizations growth strategies.
  • Collect and analyze data on budgets, resource forecasting and headcount tracking to enable efficient decision making and planning.
  • Budget development, management, tracking and PO/invoice resolution using Alteryx and Tableau
  • Track monthly headcount input and output of the DST organization and sites using Alteryx and Tableau
  • Project portfolio and resource allocation/capacity using Alteryx and Tableau
  • Identify, scope, track and implement continual improvement/ efficiency efforts using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Provide regular reports and presentations that clearly summarize analytical business data results and implications/recommendations to key partners and leadership team to inform decision making
  • Work with internal and external partners to develop and implement mitigation plans, when needed, to reach department goals and critical achievements
  • Turn unstructured business issues/requests into appropriate action plans and projects that result in high quality, significant and concrete deliverables

    • Masters degree OR Bachelors degree and 2 years of project management, data science and/or business experience OR Associates degree and 6 years of project management, data science and/or business experience OR High school diploma / GED and 8 years of project management, data science and/or business experiencePreferred Qualifications:
      • Masters Degree in Computer Science, Business or Engineering
      • Ability to think and act strategically to support key business decisions
      • Excellent organizational skills and an outstanding attention to detail
      • Strong analytical skillsability to translate disparate and sometimes ambiguous data sets into useful insights and recommendations
      • Experience in project planning, implementation, monitoring, completion and follow-up. Experience with lean and six sigma methodology, tools and projects
      • Strong oral, written and presentation skills with ability to explain complex concepts clearly to a variety of audiences
      • Proficient facilitation, negotiation, problem-solving, change management skills and ability to apply operational excellence methodologies.
      • Proficiency in Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word; as well as proficiency in business intelligence and predictive modeling tools, such as Tableau, Smart Sheets, and Alteryx. Ability to develop visual data analysis reports and tools to drive decision making
      • Outstanding ability to work in a self-directed manner while balancing a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and competing demands
      • Project a positive, can do attitude and eagerly contribute to all initiatives as needed and requested
