RESPONSIBILITIES:A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Senior Accountant in Cambridge, Massachusetts (MA).

Summary:
This client is a small manufacturing company, they have a relaxed and family-oriented environment, and provide a great work/life balance. The client also offers a strong benefits package. They are currently working in a hybrid schedule, 3 days a week in the office and 2 days remote.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing the accounting activities
  
• Senior Accountant will prepare financial statements
  
• Perform AP, AR, inventory, payroll, and GL functions
  
• Post transactions and journal entries
  
• Senior Accountant will review payroll and reconcile balance sheet accounts
  
• Prepare inventory and cost reports
  
• Review and manage commercial insurance
  
• Senior Accountant will administer 401K plan
  
• Review and recommend changes to systems and procedures
  
• Perform other duties as assigned
  Job Requirements:REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
    
  • 5-8+ years of accounting experience
    
  • Proficient Microsoft Excel skills
    
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    
  • Comfortable independently running the accounting function
