Document Controller (cGMP)Norwood, MA areaSummary:DPS
Engineering is looking for a talented Document Control Specialist
to work with a pharmaceutical client of ours in the Boston, MA
area. This individual would be responsible for Project
Documentation, Day-to-Day, and Administrative Support. The ideal
candidate should have in-depth understanding of SharePoint sites,
Training Guidelines as well as Engineering Documentation best
practices.Responsibilities:
- Document management knowledge; including ability to organize
documents for distribution, traceability, retrieval, and archiving;
all consistent with contract requirements and workflow
procedures
- Project Correspondence
- Change Management
- RFI's and Submittals, saving and tracking
- Meeting Minutes, document control and distribution
- Safety Information and Reports
- Earned Value documentation and graphics tracking
- Contractor Schedules and EV tracking and reporting
- Assembling multiple presentations
- Ensures that all required signatures are included on project
documentation
- Maintains the project's library of technical documents (blue
prints, As-builds, Photographic archiving)
- Maintains archived engineering, architectural, and construction
documents, including design drawings, vendor submittals, shop
drawings, design review records, special studies, and other
documents as required
- Gathers, compiles, tracks and reports on information relevant
to project assignment from multiple sources
- Sets up and maintains files, refers callers, arranges meetings
and conferences, receives, refers and answers mail
- Uses personal computer to compile and generate reports,
statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and
presentations
- May design processes to enhance work flow
- Multi-tasking / juggling between different managers and tasks
as required
- Following-up on multiple requirements needed for the
project
- Bachelor degree is desired but not required and replaceable by
experience
- Requires at least 4 years of experience as a document control
specialist is required
- Requires excellent organizational, interpersonal, and
communications skills
- Must exhibit professional behaviors and appearance and be aware
of the importance of teamwork within the assigned department
- Ability to read, write, reason, analyze, evaluate, problem
solve, perform mathematical calculations and allocate resources as
appropriate -Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Documentation Control and 1 year
of experience with Capital Engineering Projects.
- Basic knowledge of Life Sciences industry procedures and
practices.
- Has designed and implemented documentation management processes
and procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and
SharePoint.
- Must possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
and be able to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced
environment.
- High level of proficiency with the design, development,
security access administration and maintenance of SharePoint sites
for internal and external collaborations.
- Design, Development, Administration and maintenance of
SharePoint sites.
- Ability to develop and implement new project and documentation
management business processes.
- Engineering Documentation / Knowledge Management Best
Practice.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
