If so, read on!Your Role and ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for passionate Sr. Product Designer to play a key role in shaping the digital future of client engagements at IBM sites around the world. In this fully-remote role, you will partner with a cross-functional team of marketing leadership, client experience strategists, and engineers to ideate and craft experiences that delight our users. As the senior design leader on the team, you will be responsible for creating and executing user research studies; delivering insights to the team and making recommendations to improve the experiences; creating UX wireframes and user flows; and delivering production-ready visual design specifications to our team of engineers. If this sounds like you, then we would love to hear from you.Duties and ResponsibilitiesCraft user-centric product experiences with relentless focus on ease-of-use and value delivery for our center staff and clients:Journey app/engagement platform: A place where Client Center staff can coordinate engagement details, including speakers and agenda topics, and externalize this information to clients using an interactive, web-based experience. If you've ever been to a conference or festival with a companion web app to help you navigate the day, you will recognize this experience.Repository: A one-stop hub for all of the ingredients to run an engagement, from finding subject matter experts to product demos and client-ready case studies or presentations. Additionally, our staff can use "journeys" to build a complete day's agenda for the client and automatically import this information to the journey app. Think Shutterstock or Getty, but for everything that makes up a great client experience.Activations and immersive experiences: Occasionally, this role will contribute to technology showcases and activations that require a user interface or other user interactions.Communicate and build consensus on a product experiences with cross-functional teams, our internal users, and other key stakeholdersDeliver high-quality design solutions, paired with detailed specifications for implementationPartner with marketing leadership and engineering to ensure alignment throughout the processActively manage and prioritize work in order to deliver designs in a timely mannerRequired Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 2 years of experience as a UX designerPortfolio demonstrating strong proficiency in interaction design and clean visual designPast experience taking both qualitative and quantitative inputs to form hypothesis and inform design solutionsPast experience in service design; demonstrated thinking of how a user moves from service to service in an app ecosystem or platformAbility to both work within a Design System and contribute to it (top consideration given to candidates who have experience working with/contributing to IBM's Carbon Design System)Proficient in Sketch, InVision, and working knowledge of emerging software for design deliveryAvailability to work with collaborators located predominately in the EST zone.Preferred Technical and Professional ExpertiseDeep experience working within a marketing or sales environment that includes both virtual and in-person client outreachKnowledge of tools for motion and prototypingExperience creating UI illustrations that facilitate user understanding and add brand presenceUnderstanding of the limitations of HTML, CSS, and Vue.jsExperience working with the UserTesting app or similar platform for rapid insightsAbout Business UnitIBM Corporate Headquarters (CHQ) team represents a variety of functions such as marketing, finance, legal, operations, HR, and more, all working together to solve some of the world's most complex problems, help our clients achieve success and build collaborative work environments for IBMers.This job requires you to be fully COVID-19 vaccinated prior to your start date, where legally permissible.
