We are seeking an experienced compliance professional to join Acceleron's Compliance team. The primary focus of this position will be to assist in the maintenance and advancement of Acceleron's corporate compliance program. The successful candidate must be a champion of ethics & integrity and have the ability to manage and assist with multiple projects including monitoring and auditing, training, process development, stakeholder engagement, and global spend transparency. What will you be doing?: Support the administration of Acceleron's Learning Management System and assist with the preparation, delivery, and reporting of compliance trainings. Support Acceleron's Global Spend Transparency program to satisfy obligations under the Physician Payments Sunshine Act and other state/local reporting requirements. Perform live & desktop monitoring & auditing related to Acceleron events and processes including advisory boards, promotional interactions (ride alongs), and transfers of value. Assess and manage HCP, Patient, and Payor consulting activities to ensure compliance with Acceleron standards, such as fair market value assessment & debarment checks, to protect the company from risk. Support the maintenance and advancement of Acceleron's corporate compliance program. Partner with Legal, Finance, IT and other cross-functional teams to implement and manage compliance processes. Provide compliance guidance to cross-functional teams regarding proposed Acceleron business activities and advocate for a strong culture of ethics and integrity. Provide other general compliance support of Acceleron activities. What are we looking for?: Bachelor's degree required. 2-4+ years of corporate compliance experience within a biopharmaceutical company preferred. Working knowledge of healthcare compliance laws and regulations, including the PhRMA Code on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals, Physician Payments Sunshine Act, OIG Guidance, and those related to product promotion. Familiarity with technology platforms and tools to support compliance objectives, such as global spend transparency, fair market value, stakeholder engagement, and learning management. Outstanding interpersonal skills to effectively establish and maintain business relationships. Ability to multitask and manage multiple small to large projects in a cross-functional environment.
