Job Description:
Duties: Will lead strategy and analysis projects for the
Fidelity Managed Accounts (MA) business, with a focus on supporting the creation
of multi- year strategic roadmap, as well as the development of new
capabilities in customer profiling, multi-account management and a unified
managed household offering. Will be responsible for gathering and
synthesizing business and competitive data from across the organization and
the marketplace, as well as coordinating the workflows and delivery
of key projects. Collaborate with internal Fidelity partners -
particularly Managed Accounts Product Management, MA Product Development,
Strategic Advisers Inc., the Customer Knowledge Center, Legal and
Distribution. Primary Responsibilities: • Support the development of a strategic roadmap for the
Fidelity managed accounts business, based on an analysis both of external
market trends and opportunities, as well as internal capabilities,
historical business data and multi-year plan goals and metrics. • Support the development of a multi-goal financial planning capability, in partnership with Strategic Advisers and other
Managed Accounts business partners • Coordinate the multi-year creation and launch of a new
unified managed household capability by leading work streams across
product development, legal, finance, marketing and distribution • Monitor the managed accounts competitive landscape by
identifying key business trends and opportunities, and incorporate those
findings into business plans, as well as share them proactively and with key
business partners across MA team and Fidelity. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration,
Economics or Finance (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) as well
as 5 years of experience in job offered or 5 years of experience in
management consulting in financial services or, alternatively, a Master's
degree and 2 years of experience as noted above. Experience must include:
Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) performing competitive analysis and research
for asset management managed accounts and mutual fund products using
Simfund, Cerulli reports, Coates Analytics and PSN Databases to develop sales and
marketing strategies and product positioning recommendations for senior
management; DE analyzing investment portfolio gaps including requirements
gathering for product transformation and performing competitive benchmarking
and market analysis of existing products or new product launch within the
wealth management brokerage tools domain; DE analyzing product usage by
client, vendor billing, revenue and P&L of product line to identify
cost reductions, increase revenues and maximize profitability of
product line within asset management environment; DE conducting primary
research (interviewing senior executives and clients) and secondary
research (analyzing industry intelligence and data) to develop white
papers, executive presentations, business strategy models and research
briefs to support strategic business decisions on IT infrastructure,
